Valerie Day with the Vibes Quartet

Valerie Day and vibraphonist Mike Horsfall have plumbed the depths of the jazz repertoire and come up with something special…a revitalized sound that swings, sambas, and torches well known and obscure standards that traverse the worlds of jazz, bossa nova, pop, and soul. Joined by the incomparable Dave Captein on bass and Gary Hobbs on drums, Valerie and Mike take you on a musically and emotionally satisfying sonic ride with Mike’s harmonically sophisticated and fun arrangements.
